Insert the Sonic & Knuckles Collection disc into your CD drive or copy the GAME folder from the disc into your computer. Download Sega PC Reloaded here, then run the launcher. From the launcher menu, select the Install Game option, and then select Sonic & Knuckles Collection. Sonic Classic Collection™ gathers together the first four Sonic The Hedgehog adventures - Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Sonic The Hedgehog 3 and Sonic & Knuckles - introducing some of the most influential Sonic titles to a whole new generation of gamers exclusively for the DS. Anyone know where I can find the patch for the PC version?[edit]
I am a proud owner of the PC version of the game, and I have had some trouble with it ever since we got windows XP, such as the video moving too fast...
Reissue[edit]
I have a copy of S&K Collection that was released in 1999 by Expert Software. I went through the directory structure and it seems that the core game files hadn't been changed since 1996 (but the installer was made in 1999). Additionally, it contains the Sonic Screensaver, but it's hidden on the disc (it's not installed to the hard drive). I don't think any of the Screensaver files had been modified since 1996 either. Patching the game manually[edit]
- Download the patch for Sonic & Knuckles Collection (alternate link)
Hello.
If anyone have problems downloading or installing the patch, here are the steps to do manually.
- Look for and open the 'S3K.ini' file in Windows directory (C:Windows). Create one if you don't have the file.
- Add the following to the INI file:
