About the Author

Dr Alexander Mustard has worked as a full-time underwaterphotographer for the past 10 years. Previously, he worked as amarine biologist at the UK's National Oceanography Centre inSouthampton. He has pioneered many techniques within unden/vaterphotography, which he shares through magazine articles, talks andworkshops. His photographs have won many awards including, on fiveoccasions, the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year. In 2013, Alexwas named GDT European Wildlife Photographer of the Year for hisimage Night Moves.
